| Tanya Rochat grew up in South Africa, the sunny country and rainbow nation. She was one of 3 girls brought up with lots of creativity, colour and craft. There was always a buzz with some or other new project going on. This naturally led to her becoming a fashion designer.
“It was with this foundation of art, design and a curiosity about life, mixed with the desire to see the world, that I landed, with 2 suitcases and enough pounds to pay my living for 2 weeks, in London in 1996. There the world started opening up to me. I was fearless, brave and determined to conquer the fashion and art worlds.” Almost immediately Tanya started capturing everything she saw and experienced in photographs and knew this was to be her greatest passion in life. She lived in Europe for 8 years and learned as much as she could from the old masters of design, art, fashion and especially photography and established herself there as a fashion photographer. With her professional background in fashion design, her love for expressing beauty, her passion for life and desire to capture romance she turned all her attention to and focussed on wedding photography. Tanya permanently settled in Sydney in 2003 and today Tanya manages her own booming wedding photography studio and is known for her attention to detail and exceptional digital wedding albums designed by her. She is proud to be a member of the community of wedding photographers Sydney has to offer. She is a testament to what tenacity, natural talent and a glamorous dream can do for a girl. ** The Story so far: Tanya Rochat launched her signature business in 1999. Her impact on a market hungry for real beauty and something lasting was instant and total. Her artistic outlook and creative passion is evident through all her photographs. Each one is given the utmost love and attention to detail. She also has strong professional skills in graphics design and is an expert in using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator to enhance wedding pictures in photoshop. She combines both her photography talents and graphics designer skills to create memorable digital albums.
